Antibody labeling refers to the covalent connection of labeled substances (such as enzymes, fluorescein, biotin, etc.) to antibodies, which specifically react with the substances to be detected (such as certain specific antigens) to form multicomponent complexes. The test results can be directly observed under a microscope or automatically determined with the help of precision instruments such as fluorescence microscopes, radiation measuring instruments, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detectors, electron microscopes, and luminescence immunoassay instruments. Qualitative and localization studies of antigen-antibody reactions can be conducted at the cellular, subcellular, ultrastructural and molecular levels, or various liquid and solid phase immunoassay methods can be applied to qualitatively and quantitatively determine haptens and antigens in body fluids. At present, antibody labeling technology has been widely used in the analysis and research as well as technical determination in fields such as medical pathology, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology, and biopharmaceuticals. Common antibody labeling techniques include enzyme labeling, biotinylation labeling, fluorescein labeling, and colloidal gold labeling, etc.

BOT Bioscience provides both antibody preparation services and professional antibody labeling services. Labeling molecules include fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), horseradish peroxidase (HRP), and biotin, which are suitable for the labeling of monoclonal, polyclonal, and recombinant antibodies. The labeled antibody could be used to localize and perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of the corresponding antigen.
