      Overview

      SERVICE NO: TSS056

BOT Bioscience provides customers with custom polystyrene particles convergence service, using various types of Polystyrene Particles to form strong bonds with antibodies, proteins, or other biomolecules.

BOT Bioscience can provide the following three methods for attaching biological ligands to polystyrene particles: Passive adsorption method Biotin-Streptomycin method and EDC Covalent coupling method. The passive adsorption method assembles antibodies or proteins onto the surface of polystyrene particles through electrostatic adsorption. This method is convenient, fast, and does not involve chemical reactions. The Biotin Streptomycin method utilizes polystyrene particles modified on the surface of streptomycin to bind with biotinylated proteins, resulting in a product with good stability. The EDC Covalent coupling method utilizes EDC and NHS to activate the surfaces of polystyrene particles and proteins to be bound. This method is more controllable and can effectively reduce the impact of steric hindrance on the structure of conjugated proteins.

      Service Details

      Passive adsorption

1.Mix the standard phosphate buffer, protein solution to be coupled, and polystyrene particle dispersion solution, vortex and incubate for a period of time.

2.Centrifuge unreacted protein and clean to remove impurities

3.Analyze products to ensure compliance with customer requirements and obtain the final product

      Biotin-Streptomycin method

      1. Combine the protein to be conjugated with biotin to obtain biotinylated protein

      2. Polystyrene Particles modified with streptomycin bind to biotinylated proteins

3.Centrifuge unreacted protein and clean to remove impurities

4.Analyze products to ensure compliance with customer requirements and obtain the final product

      EDC Covalent coupling

      1. EDC and NHS are added to the buffer solution in proportion to prepare the EDC-NHS active solution, adjust the pH value, add disperse the polystyrene particles, and activate the surface of the polystyrene particles?.

      2. Mix the biomacromolecules to be coupled (such as proteins, peptides, etc.) with EDC-NHS active solution in a certain proportion, and let them stand for a certain period of time for crosslinking reaction.

3.Centrifuge unreacted protein and clean to remove impurities

4.Analyze products to ensure compliance with customer requirements and obtain the final product
