BackgroundH1N1 is an RNA virus belonging to the Orthomyxoviridae family. Its hosts are birds and some mammals. Almost all A-type H1N1 viruses have been isolated, and disease in wild birds is rare. Some H1N1 viruses cause severe disease mostly in poultry and pets, but rarely in humans. But through the spread and mutation of birds and some mammals, this could lead to widespread epidemics or human influenza. As of March 31, 2010, more than 127,000 confirmed cases of Influenza A (H1N1) have been reported in 31 provinces across the country, including 126,000 domestic infections, 1,228 imported cases, and 800 deaths. In 2009, the H1N1 flu broke out in the United States and spread to 214 countries and regions, causing nearly 200,000 deaths.
