Polyclonal Antibodies
Multi-epitope recognition — the practical choice when a target is small, rare or conformationally variable.
A polyclonal antiserum contains antibodies directed against several epitopes of the same antigen. That breadth is an advantage when the target is a small peptide, when homology between species is imperfect, or when a sandwich assay needs two antibodies that can bind simultaneously — one polyclonal as capture and a monoclonal for detection is a classic, robust pairing.
Catalogue reagents are produced under a scheduled immunisation programme with ELISA titre monitoring at every bleed. For projects that need a specific species, epitope region or carrier protein, we run custom production from antigen design through affinity purification and application testing.
