Native Proteins
The folding, glycosylation and epitope landscape of the protein as it exists in nature.
Some assays simply cannot be built on a recombinant surrogate. When an antibody must recognise a glycosylated epitope, when a calibrator has to behave like the analyte in patient samples, or when a structural study needs the mature, processed form of a protein, native material remains the reference.
We purify native proteins from characterised starting material using salt fractionation, affinity and size-exclusion chromatography. Each preparation is documented with source, purification route and purity data, and is delivered with a statement on preservatives and stabilisers so that it can be transferred straight into a regulated workflow.
