Monoclonal Antibodies

One epitope, one clone, one reproducible answer — across every platform you run.

monoclonal antibodyrecombinant antibodyFabScFv

A monoclonal antibody recognises a single epitope, which is why it delivers low background and consistent behaviour between experiments. The trade-off is that each application demands its own validation: an antibody that performs in Western blot will not necessarily work in flow cytometry, and an IHC-grade reagent may need antigen retrieval that a frozen section cannot tolerate.

Our monoclonal portfolio spans recombinant full-length IgG, Fab fragments and single-chain variable fragments (ScFv). Recombinant production is defined at the DNA level, so sequence, glycoform and performance remain constant when you scale from a trial vial to a bulk lot — and it removes the need to re-validate a new hybridoma subclone every few years.

Applications

ApplicationRepresentative examplesWhen it fits
Recombinant monoclonal antibodyCancer biomarker verification, neutralising antibodies, ELISATarget validation in WB and IHC, antiviral neutralisation assays and quantitative biomarker measurement where a defined Fc region matters.
Fab fragmentSubcellular localisation, receptor blocking, lateral flowImaging and blocking studies that must avoid Fc-receptor binding, and lateral-flow strips where background from complex samples has to stay low.
ScFvFusion proteins, microarray screening, structural biologyTight spaces such as intracellular imaging and cell junctions, fluorescent-protein fusions and crystallography of antigen–antibody complexes.

Product highlights

  • Single-epitope specificity with minimal cross-reactivity to non-target molecules.
  • Format diversity — full-length IgG, Fab and compact ScFv for different assay geometries.
  • Validated across WB, IHC, IF, ELISA, IP and flow cytometry.
  • Engineered low background — Fab without Fc region, ScFv with minimised off-target binding.
  • Custom conjugation: HRP, FITC, PE, APC, biotin, Cy3/Cy5 and customer-supplied dyes.
